Our second week in Antigua was as lovely as the first. We continued school in the morning, explored cafes, and studied in the afternoon. Larry completed a full level at school and was able to go ahead and start the next before we left. I focused on medical Spanish and reviewed a lot of what I had forgotten over the past years. We each felt like we could have used a few more weeks of school, but we were so grateful for the time we had there. We highly recommend CSA!! http://learncsa.com/
Antigua is such a fantastic little town to walk around in and the surrounding mountains and volcanoes offer incredible views.

One of our lasts afternoons we took a tour of a coffee farm right outside of Antigua. Guatemala produces some amazing coffee. We enjoyed seeing and learning about the process.
El Cerro de La Cruz
We went and bought a bouquet of star gazer lilies for Jeanette the day before we left. It costs around $7. If they were that price in SF I would always have them in the house :)
We left Antigua at 5am on the 24th and drove the hour to Guatemala city to meet up with a team of wonderful people from two churches in Vermont. Our time in Antigua was incredible. It was so fun to spend two straight weeks with Larry. We realize not many people have the opportunity to get away together for that amount of time and we treasured every moment. I can't wait to share the rest of the trip. It only got better from here :) Stay tuned...
