We are dog-sitting for one of our favorite dogs, Maribeth Peterson. She belongs to the Petersons' who go to our church and is actually a "failed" guide dog. She has mild hip dysplasia and she also has dog distractions :) She starts howling/growling a friendly hello whenever we run into another dog or she will just lay down and wait for the new friend to walk over to us. Needless to say that would be a bit problematic if she were guiding a blind person. She is the sweetest thing and wouldn't hurt a fly, but she sure is vocal.
